What eats your finance week?

Two finance workloads. Scoped and priced.

Each is a complete job an agent owns end to end, made of the workflows that job needs. Start with one. Add the second when the first one earns it.

Decide

Sample calendar. Your agent goes live Monday, October 19. The cash brief prints every morning, weekends included, and reminders go out every weekday. That makes 24 runs to judge before day 14.

  1. Before

    Scoping call

We learn the job, the tools, your rules, and what done looks like.

  2. Before

    Connect your tools

You authorize access. We build and test the agent on our dime.

  3. Day 1

    Agent goes live

The 14-day clock starts. Finished work starts landing.

  4. Day 14

    You decide

Keep it at $249 a month, or walk away. You owe nothing for the build.

Every run ends in something you can check.

No dashboard to babysit. Each run produces a draft, a package, or a receipt you can read in a minute and forward to your accountant.

Samples use a fictional company. Real outputs carry your data and stay in your systems.

Brightway Supply changed its bank details.

The change came in by email on Oct 5. Your next payment to Brightway is $3,120.00 on Oct 8, inside the held AP run. Changed bank details are a common fraud pattern, so the agent won't guess.

Suggested next steps

  1. Call Brightway at the number already on file, not the one in the email.
  2. Confirm the new account and routing numbers by voice.
  3. Mark verified here. The payment moves into your approval queue.

Works in the tools you already pay for.

Your ledger stays the system of record. Agents connect through access you authorize, do the relay work between systems, and write back where you say.

Approval limits

Set per action type. The agent respects them on every run.

Exception queue

Unmatched deposits, likely duplicates, changed bank details. Parked with context, never guessed.

Audit receipts

Every entry, match, and message is logged with its source, rule, and approver.

Your no-go list

Accounts it never touches, customers it never emails, codes it never uses.

Your data

Access you control. Data that stays put.

  • Access you can revokeConnections run through authorizations you grant and can revoke at any time. Agents never hold your raw logins.

  • Never used for trainingYour financial data is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

Your accountant can trace every number.

Your bookkeeper reviews instead of keying. Your CPA opens books with a receipt behind every entry. Judgment, sign-off, and tax stay with them.

Hi, we're starting a 14-day free trial of Machine-like, a managed service that runs AI agents on some of our finance work. Here's what it will and won't do:
  • It stages reconciliations, payout matching, invoice reminders, and a month-end close package for review.
  • It can't pay, refund, or transfer money during the trial. Entries above our limit wait for approval.
  • Every action is logged with its source, the rule applied, and who approved it.
  • Access runs through connections we can revoke at any time.
We'd like you to review the close package each month. Happy to add you as a reviewer.

Talk to us

What owners ask before they start.

Money, access, your bookkeeper, and what happens after day 14.

Will this replace my bookkeeper?

No. It takes the keying, matching, and chasing off their plate. They review and sign off instead of building from scratch, and every entry has a receipt they can follow.

Can the agent move money?

Not during your trial. Agents stage payments and draft messages, and you release them. After the trial, payment actions still wait behind limits you set, and autonomy only grows as far as you allow.

Is our financial data safe?

Your data stays in your systems. Agents reach them through connections you authorize and can revoke at any time, use only the access their workflow needs, and log every action. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it's never used to train AI models.

Our books are behind. Can we still start?

Yes. Part of the build is finding which sources can be trusted and fixing the gaps that matter. If the books are behind, the first close prep runs include catching them up.

Do I need QuickBooks or Xero?

Those are the most common. If your ledger has an API, it's a candidate. We confirm on the scoping call.

Which workload should I start with?

Usually Cash & collections. It runs every day, so your trial produces plenty of finished work to judge. Add Close prep second.

What happens when the agent isn't sure?

It stops and sends the item to your queue with the context you need to decide. In finance, guessing is not a control.

What does it cost after the trial?

$249 a month per workload for one or two workloads, or $199 each for three to five. No setup or integration fees, and you can cancel any time.

What do you need from me?

A scoping call, access to the tools involved, the rules you follow today, and one person who can approve. We handle the rest.

Free trial · no card · no setup fees
