LAYER / 01

An identity with hard limits

Layer 1 is the identity file: who the agent is, its operating rules, the boundaries it never crosses. It rides along on every single turn. Model choice, runtime, and budgets are pinned in config. Nothing about Marshal's behavior is improvised.

Capabilities that load on demand

Each task Marshal can do is a self-contained skill: a documented procedure, deterministic scripts, and reference docs that load when needed. Tools are typed functions with schema-validated inputs. Specialist subagents take the deep work.

Permissions as code, not vibes

What Marshal may do is written down, auditable, and enforced: which actions require a human and who that human is, when to stop and hand off, where the data and spend limits sit.

What is Marshal?

Marshal is the Managed Agent Operations company that designs, deploys, and operates AI agents as a service for small businesses.

Agents run on top of the software you already use and we stay accountable for them in production. Think of it as an on-demand machine workforce for all operational work: sales follow-up, support triage, finance, marketing, etc.

You tell us the job. We build and run the agent that handles it.

What is Managed Agent Operations?

Managed Agent Operations means your AI agents get designed, deployed, and run for you, as a service. The market gives you two options today: agents you build yourself, and agents you buy and then have to babysit. Both leave you managing software systems. Managed Agent Operations is the third option. Marshal builds and runs the agent end to end: configuration, integrations, fixes, and upkeep. You stay on the approvals. We manage the agents. You run the business.

What kind of work can Marshal actually do?

Marshal works across most operational job functions: sales, customer support, operations, finance, marketing, and AI visibility. Examples of work that Marshal handles include lead response within minutes, qualification and routing, booking and follow-up, prospect research, support ticket triage, client onboarding, data sync and CRM hygiene, financial reporting, cash reconciliation, and close support. Each agent is scoped to one specific role rather than stretched across everything, which is what keeps it reliable. If a workflow eats hours every week and runs on tools, it is a candidate.

Is Marshal a fit for a business like ours?

Our sweet spot is founder-led and operator-led businesses, roughly $1M to $50M in revenue, with a real go-to-market motion already running and a small team carrying too much manual coordination, follow-up, and admin. SaaS, professional services, legal, education, and other SMBs all fit. If you are pre-revenue with limited runway, you are probably too early. If you are a Fortune 100 with procurement layers, we are probably the wrong shop. Everyone in between is exactly who we built this for.

How is Marshal different from other AI agents?

Most AI agents arrive one of two ways. Either you build the agent on a platform, and your team designs, tests, runs, and maintains it. Or you buy an agent, and your team monitors and babysits it. That includes the newer tools that generate agents for you: self-creating is not self-managing. Marshal is the third way, Managed Agent Operations: AI agents that get designed, deployed, and run for you, as a service. The first two doors hand you software plus a second job. Marshal hands you completed work. You stay on approvals and judgment calls.

How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days of a custom agent completing real, verified work in your business before you pay anything. The clock starts when the agent goes live, not when you sign up. If you want to keep Marshal on the job, roll into the service tier that fits. No seats, no setup fees, pause or cancel anytime.

How much of our time will this take, and do we need technical people?

Far less than doing it yourself, and no, you do not need engineers. The heavy lifting is ours: scoping, building, integrating, testing, and running the system. You will not troubleshoot APIs or sit watching live runs. All that’s needed from you is bounded and front-loaded: access to the right tools, clarity on the rules, the outcomes you need, and one point of contact for decisions. After that, Marshal works and we run it. The goal is to take work off your plate, not hand you a second job.

What happens when something breaks or an API changes?

We fix it. When an integration changes, an API updates, or an agent drifts in month six, that is our problem to catch and repair, not yours. We monitor every agent in production, keep them working as your business processes evolve, and stay fully accountable for them in production. That is the difference between a managed service and a tool you have to operate.

Is our data and our clients' data secure?

Yes. Your data stays where it lives. Your CRM, inbox, tools, and data never move. Agents reach into those systems through credentials you control and can revoke at any time. They take only the specific action the workflow calls for, and log every step in an audit trail. The workflow logic and the agent runtime are inside a secure hosted environment with least-privilege access, encryption in transit and at rest, and full logging on every run. Your data is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. You own everything that runs through the system.

Let's get back tothe work of humans1

Marshal is the execution layer that bridges frontier AI and your daily business operations.
